There is a whole school approach to Special Educational Needs based on early identification of and then provision for special needs. All children with special educational need will have access to appropriately differentiated curriculum provision and/or support in acquiring basic skills, to develop their full academic/social potential. We appoint additional staff and specialist help to support identified children. Our approach is based upon a partnership between school, parents/carers and child - to provide information for parent(s) and encourage involvement whenever possible.
